This shade sail structure is on the 3rd floor rooftop patio at University of California Irvine in Orange County. It has (5) quadrilateral sails attached to (9) posts secured to the concrete beams under the roof tiles. Some of the fabrics also attach to the building wall. Lighting fixtures are mounted on each post for nightime entertainment on the roof overlooking the beautiful view 43′ below.
